We often have very busy days and these can result in us being booked out and having to turn some patients away. For the benefit of all we would prefer not to have to turn away patients, only to then have no-shows or last minute cancelations. With notice of cancelations, we can fit in other patients in need.
Over the years, there has been a very noticeable increase in the number of last minute cancelations and appointment no-shows. In fact, we have had days where 2/3 of our appointments have canceled at the last minute or not turned up.
This policy also helps to prevent the raising of prices to cover lost revenue of no-shows and last minute cancelations that would be required to pay our unavoidable fixed costs.
-
We recommend keeping outdoor cats in before appointments so as not to require catching at the last minute
